The meaning of colors in the Bible. Learn to discern dreams and visions when colors are present.
Green
Prosperity, growth, life, good fruit, and Riddles - What the Bible calls dark speech. Green as a riddle (Green With Envy).
Jeremiah 11:16 - The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
Luke 23:31 - For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
Numbers 12:6-8 - And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. 7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
Brown
Humbleness. The Bible etymology of word the humility/humble comes from the Hebrew word dirt/humus. Humus is dark, organic material that forms in soil. Humus is that which is low humility.
White
Righteousness or a religious spirit.
Revelation 7:13-14 - And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came. 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Blue
Glory, revelation.
Exodus 39:22, 29 - And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue. 29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Exodus 28:30 - And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.
The Urim and Thummim were used in connection with the breastplate of judgment worn by the high priest in ancient Israel. The breastplate contained 12 stones, each with the name of one of the 12 tribes written on it. The Urim and Thummim were placed in the breastplate, perhaps in a bag or pouch. Blue, Also can be a play on words (I feel blue).
Red
Anointing, redemption, wisdom.
1 Corinthians 1:30 - But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption
Purple
Riches.
John 19:5 - Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
Revelation 18:16 - And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
Gold
Purified, purity, genuineness.
Peter 1:7 - That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Black
Famine.
Revelation 6:5, 6 - 5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
Orange
Endurance. It also may stand for sweetness and the fruit of the spirit.
Galatians 5:22, 23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Pink
Child like
Silver
Works of righteousness, redemption.
1 Corinthians 3:12 - Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Leviticus 27:3-7 - 3 And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. 4 And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels. 5 And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels. 6 And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. 7 And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
Gray
Death, Wisdom.
Revelation 6:8 - And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
The fourth, horse is Gray or pale and is symbol of death, with Hades following him, jaws open wide receiving the victims slain by Death.
Yellow
Can be a symbol for gold point in case.
Psalm 68:13 - Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
Numbers 12:8 - With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”
Riddles are a common way God speaks. Example, he has a yellow streak (Yellow coward).
